Megan and DiabloVolunteers are an integral part of FOHAA.

Whether you enjoy caring for horses, working around the barn, or would like to donate your services or financially, we can probably use your help!

Megan began volunteering at FOH in the summer of 2010, without any equine experience. She has not only earned a Team Leader status at the barn, but she has transformed this rescued race-horse into a western competition and pleasure English horse!

Volunteer Orientation:  No reservation required – just show up!

An Orientation Class for new volunteers is scheduled for the first Saturday of every month. Additional classes will be held as the need arises. Classes will run from 9:00 am to 12:00 am at the Peoria barn. Volunteers are required to attend one of these classes prior to volunteering at the barn. You do not need to schedule your orientation – just show up with the completed release form below.

After you have completed your orientation, you may volunteer Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 8am – 12pm. No advance notice is required.

Please download the Volunteer Release form below and bring them to the barn. Parents are required to attend the orientation with children under 18 years old.
