Want your child to attend a Summer Camp that will
provide a lifetime of memories?
2017 New Summer Camp they will never forget !
Friends of Horses Rescue and Adoption offers weekly summer camps for children ages 7 – 13. Campers will learn how to work with and care for horses.
Those older and horse-savvy may volunteer to help with the summer camp as a community service activity to add to their college applications (prior approval and volunteer service required).
The cost is only $425 per week and we provide the horses!
Some of the activities include:
- feeding horses
- grooming horses
- learning about the horses anatomy (we have ha fun paint-the-horse-parts in the past and then given the horse a bath)
- riding lessons (daily)
- gymkhana (barrel racing/walking, poles, flags)
- crafts (tie-dye shirts, decorating horseshoes)
- and yes, they even get to muck stalls and clean the barn.
It will be an exciting week, that kids ALWAYS want to repeat, so sign up early.
