Sponsors & Supporters

Special thanks to these individuals and companies!

The following are some of the many that make it possible for us to save horses and continue to provide programs that benefit the community! We urge you to visit this page when you are looking for services. These are good people that will take care of your job! If you contact any of these individuals/companies, please tell them “Thank you” from us!

Donors

Thanks to Margaret KeysSand for donating $2,500 worth of sand for our indoor arena. The saying goes, No Hoof, No Horse. This footing has been an incredible improvement and will help to keep our horses sound. A special thanks to Terri and Tim for their endless hours of work in removing the old footing and leveling the new sand. We appreciate the entire days and nights you spent at the barn to make this happen!

Rubber Footing Thanks to Revolve Recycling! The rubber footing that was donated by Revolve Recycling has made an awesome difference to our arena. Contact us for more information on this recycled product.

Road base

Special thanks to Aggregate Concrete and Scott Construction for the generous donation of road base. It improved the property substantially!

Andrias Horse havenThe Wiess Family made a significant donation to build shelters for numerous horses. The project was completed during the summer of 2012 and I am sure the horses appreciate it during the cold and rainy times.

Eagle Scout Project

Eagle Scout Project 2012. Donated by T. Ruskamp and Troop 644. With the help of sponsors, the troop built a new and more secure pen for our goats. It was greatly needed, as the goats were often escaping from their old pen.

Our Everyday Heroes

Bill and Karen

Without Bill and Karen this rescue would not exist. It is not only a home for horses, but a community for us humans too. Thanks for your hard work to keep this running!

BruceSpecial thanks to Bruce! As the barn manager, he is responsible for the care of the horses, but this man goes beyond. He treats every horse as though it was his (adored) child, works on his days off and is on-call 24×7. We can’t thank you enough Bruce!

ThaTimnks Tim for your midnight rides! You have been the champion for our arena grooming needs. For years you have been known to be driving the tractor by the moon light.

Thank you Christina and Cheryl for working tirelessly to raise money and organize the building of five brand new shelters so that all of the rescues have a warm place to go during the winter! Thank you also to all the donors who made the new shelters possible!

TerriSpecial thanks to Terri for taking charge of the details that benefit our horses. She bought a grooming device for the tractor to keep the footing level, and she drives the tractor, grooming the arenas almost daily.

Thanks Jen for renovating the English tack room and spending endless hours rehabilitating and training the rescued horses. We appreciate the training board you created.

Grain Room

Thanks Cosette Custodio and Nancy Lalande for building the grain room, renovating the bathroom, the western tack room and the English tack room with the help of Jen Young. You can show up any man with your use of tools! Thanks Cosette for also choosing FOHRAA for your DECA project and creating a 30-page business plan that led you to national finals!

Thanks JD for taking an old stall filled with cobwebs and transforming it into a beautiful, brand new tack room! And thank you for all of the hours you spend doing repairs and making improvements at the barn.
