Events. Come Join Us!

The Wine Sip and Silent was a huge success and a lot of fun! Thank you to all. Our next event is "Giddy Up & Go". June 15th from 10 – 2pm. It is a fundraiser to benefit the Therapeutic Riding programs at FOHRAA. There will be pony rides, hay rides, face painting, a water balloon toss and much more.

FOHRAA

Friends of Horses Rescue and Adoption (FOHRAA), is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization located in Centennial, Colorado since 2002. FOHRAA is dedicated to horse rescue, adoption and education. With over 150 horses currently being cared for, FOHRAA is not a “typical” rescue”. We offer a full service riding facility, with indoor and outdoor arenas, therapeutic riding, riding lessons in all disciplines and at all levels. For the more adventurous riders, FOHRAA, has access to Cherry Creek State Park. In addition to horse adoption, we also offer the option to lease a horse on a monthly basis; we take full care of the horse - all you have to do is ride it!. Private boarding is also available.

Summer Camp for Kids

Immerse your child in the ranch experience! They will learn horse care to riding, and come home tired, but ready to return. It is an exciting week that culminates with a ride through Cherry Creek State Park. This years Summer Camp runs from June 10th - August 12th, 2013.

Just another great day at the barn!

Donate Love!

Contributions of time, money, skills and supplies truly allow us to make this a stepping-stone (and step up) for horses that deserve a second chance. An Eagle Scout Troop built a pen for the goats, the Wiess Family donated the funds to build outdoor shelters for numerous horses,Margaret Keys donated funds to replace with footing in the indoor arena. Terri and Tim purchased equipment to manicure the arenas, Hadley takes total care of the chickens. Cosette renovated the barn restroom and built the western tack room and grain room. Jen renovated the English tack room. And Bruce consistently works on his days and nights off to care for the horses. And if it wasn't for Bill and Karen, this place wouldn't be here. So special thanks to them! When something needs to be done, we all pull together and work whatever hours are needed to make this a second-chance for the animals here. Read more about how you can make a difference.
